Last updated: 2 October 2025 This friendly guide shows how to pack and
secure raw singles, graded cards and sealed products so they arrive
safely—and how to capture evidence that helps resolve disputes fast. It
sits alongside the Seller Policy, Buyer Policy and Grading &
Condition guidance. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms
prevail.
Prepare the item
Confirm the item matches your listing (set/edition, condition, disclosures).
For sealed items, re-check the seal and note any non-exposing tears
in comments/photos.
Choose the right materials
Use sleeves, toploaders or semi-rigids, team bags, rigid mailers or sturdy
boxes, bubble-wrap and corner protection (for sealed and slabs). Avoid plain
paper envelopes.
Pack securely (see detailed guides below)
Immobilise the contents inside a rigid outer. Never tape directly to a
toploader.
Capture evidence
Take clear photos and a short continuous video of the packing, the label and
the hand-over/acceptance. This is invaluable in a dispute.
What you’ll need
Single cards
- Penny sleeves (new/clean)
- Toploaders or semi-rigids (Card Saver-style)
- Team bags or small grip-seal bags
- Painter’s tape with pull-tabs (no residue)
- Two pieces of stiff card (if no rigid mailer)
- Rigid mailer or small cardboard box + void fill
Graded cards
- Bubble-wrap (2-3 layers)
- Optional foam or corner guards
- Snug inner box + void fill
- Outer box or rigid mailer rated for the weight
Sealed products
- Full bubble-wrap coverage (all faces)
- Corner protectors (recommended)
- Double-wall cardboard box
- Extra void fill to stop any rattle
- Strong packing tape (H-tape seal)
How to pack (by item type)
Single raw / ungraded cards
Sleeve the card
Place the card in a new penny sleeve. For foils, avoid forcing a curled
corner; guide it in gently. Do not press/clean/alter the
card.
Add rigid protection
Insert into a toploader or semi-rigid. Secure the opening with
painter’s tape + pull-tab (tape the sleeve or team bag—
not the card).
Dust & moisture barrier
Put the protected card into a team bag (or small grip-seal). This
prevents dust and moisture and stops the card sliding out.
Immobilise
Option A (rigid mailer): Place in a rigid mailer with a thin
layer of padding so it cannot move.
Option B (small box): Sandwich between two stiff card pieces,
then place in a small box with light void fill. The bundle must not rattle.
Graded cards (slabs)
Snug inner fit
Place the wrapped slab in a snug box or rigid mailer with no movement.
Fill light voids.
Outer box (if needed)
For heavier or multiple slabs, use a sturdy outer box. The inner should not
touch the outer walls; add void fill on all sides.
Sealed products
Inspect & document
Re-check the factory seal. If there are non-exposing tears, photograph
them clearly (edges & close-ups) and mention them in your listing comments.
Pad all faces
Wrap the product completely with bubble-wrap; add corner protection. Aim
for no direct box-to-outer contact.
Use a strong outer
Choose a double-wall cardboard box sized so you can fill all voids. For
high-value or heavy items, consider double-boxing.
Minimum standard (from the Seller Policy): sufficient bubble-wrap + a
double-wall box (corner protection recommended).
Shipping evidence
What to photograph
What to photograph
- The item before packing (front/back; corners/edges; slab cert; sealed edges/any tears)
- The packing stages: protection used (sleeve/toploader/team bag or wrap), immobilisation inside the mailer/box, and final seal.
- The address label and tracking number on the sealed parcel.
- The weighed parcel on a scale (weight visible) and, if possible, dimensions.
What to record on video (1-2 minutes)
What to record on video (1-2 minutes)
Record a continuous clip (no cuts) showing:
- the item condition before
- the materials you use,
- the item going into its protection and into the mailer/box,
- the label with tracking number,
- a handover/acceptance moment (e.g., post office counter scan or drop-off receipt)
Why this helps
Why this helps
Clear, time-stamped photos and video provide strong, neutral evidence if
a case is opened (e.g., damage in transit, “not as described”, or “not
received”). Combined with valid tracking, they allow Managem to resolve
disputes faster and more fairly.
Privacy tip
Privacy tip
Avoid exposing unrelated personal data in images/video. It’s fine for the
shipping label to be visible; please don’t include bank slips or screens
showing unrelated details.

Select carrier & enter tracking
Choose a supported carrier from the dropdown and paste the tracking
number. Managem validates tracking via Easypost. If the format/number
is invalid or not recognised, you’ll be prompted to correct it.
Upload your evidence (recommended)
Use the Upload photos/video area to add your packing photos and short
clip. These files are stored with the order and can be referenced
automatically if a case is opened.
Tracking, carriers & delivery
Supported carriers
Royal Mail (recommended), Evri, DHL Express, DPD, UPS, Parcelforce, FedEx,
Yodel, InPost.
The list may be updated in the Help Centre.
Validation & status
Tracking numbers are validated via Easypost and must resolve to online
tracking. A QR code or booking reference without a numeric tracking ID is
not sufficient.
- Dispatch time: within 3 Business Days unless your listing states otherwise (and in any case within 30 days).
- Signature on delivery: required for orders £150+.
- No generic “safe place”: if the buyer is absent, use a recognised pickup point/parcel shop.
- Risk passes only on physical receipt by the buyer or their nominated person.
