This friendly guide shows how to pack and secure raw singles, graded cards and sealed products so they arrive safely—and how to capture evidence that helps resolve disputes fast.
It sits alongside the Seller Policy, Buyer Policy and Grading & Condition guidance. If anything here conflicts with the Terms, the Terms prevail.
1
Prepare the item
Confirm the item matches your listing (set/edition, condition, disclosures). For sealed items, re-check the seal and note any non-exposing tears in comments/photos.
2
Choose the right materials
Use sleeves, toploaders or semi-rigids, team bags, rigid mailers or sturdy boxes, bubble-wrap and corner protection (for sealed and slabs). Avoid plain paper envelopes.
3
Pack securely (see detailed guides below)
Immobilise the contents inside a rigid outer. Never tape directly to a toploader.
4
Capture evidence
Take clear photos and a short continuous video of the packing, the label and the hand-over/acceptance. This is invaluable in a dispute.
5
Label, track & upload
Use a supported carrier with a valid tracking number. When you mark the order Shipped, select the carrier, enter tracking, and upload your photos/video in the Managem UI. Tracking is validated via our partner Easypost.

Single raw / ungraded cards#
1
Sleeve the card
Place the card in a new penny sleeve. For foils, avoid forcing a curled corner; guide it in gently. Do not press/clean/alter the card.
2
Add rigid protection
Insert into a toploader or semi-rigid. Secure the opening with painter's tape + pull-tab (tape the sleeve or team bag—not the card).
3
Dust & moisture barrier
Put the protected card into a team bag (or small grip-seal). This prevents dust and moisture and stops the card sliding out.
4
Immobilise
Option A (rigid mailer): Place in a rigid mailer with a thin layer of padding so it cannot move.
Option B (small box): Sandwich between two stiff card pieces, then place in a small box with light void fill. The bundle must not rattle.
5
Outer seal & label
Seal all edges firmly. Apply the label flat (no wrinkles). Add a return address. Avoid writing “card” on the parcel.
Never ship in a plain white/boarded envelope without rigid protection.
Never tape directly to a toploader.
Do not rubber-band bare cards together—use sleeves and a team bag.
Sending multiple cards? Sleeve each one, use separate toploaders/semi-rigids, then keep the stack aligned and immobilised inside the outer.
Graded cards (slabs)#
1
Wrap the slab
Wrap with 2-3 layers of bubble-wrap. Add corner guards or a foam frame if available.
2
Snug inner fit
Place the wrapped slab in a snug box or rigid mailer with no movement. Fill light voids.
3
Outer box (if needed)
For heavier or multiple slabs, use a sturdy outer box. The inner should not touch the outer walls; add void fill on all sides.
4
Seal & label
H-tape the seams. Affix the label flat. Avoid exposing the slab to direct pressure points.
Cracked or tampered slabs must not be listed or shipped. If the case has light scuffs, you may note them in comments; pack to avoid further abrasion.
Sealed products#
1
Inspect & document
Re-check the factory seal. If there are non-exposing tears, photograph them clearly (edges & close-ups) and mention them in your listing comments.
2
Pad all faces
Wrap the product completely with bubble-wrap; add corner protection. Aim for no direct box-to-outer contact.
3
Use a strong outer
Choose a double-wall cardboard box sized so you can fill all voids. For high-value or heavy items, consider double-boxing.
4
Immobilise & seal
Fill voids so nothing moves when shaken. Seal with H-tape and reinforce stress points.
Minimum standard (from the Seller Policy): sufficient bubble-wrap + a double-wall box (corner protection recommended).
Shipping evidence#
Mark as "Shipped"#
1
Open the order
Go to the order and click Mark as Shipped.
2
Select carrier & enter tracking
Choose a supported carrier from the dropdown and paste the tracking number. Managem validates tracking via Easypost. If the format/number is invalid or not recognised, you'll be prompted to correct it.
3
Upload your evidence (recommended)
Use the Upload photos/video area to add your packing photos and short clip. These files are stored with the order and can be referenced automatically if a case is opened.
4
Confirm dispatch
Click Confirm. Tracking will be shared with the buyer and updates will flow into the order timeline.
Uploading your packing photos/video at the “Mark as Shipped” step measurably reduces back-and-forth in cases.
Tracking, carriers & delivery#
Supported carriers
Royal Mail (recommended), Evri, DHL Express, DPD, UPS, Parcelforce, FedEx, Yodel, InPost.
The list may be updated in the Help Centre.Validation & status
Tracking numbers are validated via Easypost and must resolve to online tracking. A QR code or booking reference without a numeric tracking ID is not sufficient.Dispatch time: within 3 Business Days unless your listing states otherwise (and in any case within 30 days).
Signature on delivery: required for orders £150+.
No generic “safe place”: if the buyer is absent, use a recognised pickup point/parcel shop.
Risk passes only on physical receipt by the buyer or their nominated person.
Channel Islands sellers: attach any required customs/VAT documents for UK deliveries (see the Seller Policy).
Quick checklists#
Common pitfalls (avoid these)#
• Plain envelopes or flimsily padded mailers with no rigid protection
• Taping directly to toploaders or cards
• Loose items that can move or rub in transit
• Omitting tracking, using an unsupported carrier, or entering a booking reference instead of a trackable number
• Authorising generic “safe-place” delivery for high-value items
